In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
