French Toast Preparation

Prepare the egg mixture
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

Soak the Texas toast
Dip each slice of Texas toast into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side until well coated.

Cook the French toast
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Place the soaked Texas toast in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining slice and butter.

Brew the coffee
In a coffee maker, add the ground coffee to the filter and pour in 1 cup of water. Brew according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Serve the coffee
Once brewed, pour the coffee into a cup and serve alongside the French toast.
