Method

Omelette

  1. 1

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.

  2. 2

    Cook the Omelette

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, pour in the egg mixture. Allow it to cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over one half of the omelette. Carefully fold the other half over the cheese and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Plate the Omelette

Gently slide the omelette onto a plate and set aside.

Home Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into small cubes.

  2. 6

    Cook the Potatoes

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 7

    Add Onions and Seasoning

Add the diced onion, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 8

    Serve the Home Fries

Once cooked, remove from heat and transfer the home fries to a serving dish.

Toast

  1. 9

    Toast the Bread

While the omelette and home fries are cooking, toast the bread slices until golden brown.

  2. 10

    Butter the Toast

Spread butter on the toasted bread slices to your preference.
