Chicken Tenders
Fries or Fruit
Method
Chicken Tenders Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide. This will be your chicken tenders.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs. Make sure each piece is well coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles, it's ready.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the breaded chicken tenders into the hot oil, cooking in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Fries Preparation
- 6
Prep the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
- 7
Fry the Potatoes
In the same skillet used for the chicken, add more oil if necessary and heat it to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.

Serve with Fresh Fruit
If opting for fruit, wash and cut the fresh fruit into bite-sized pieces. You can use a mix of berries, apples, or any seasonal fruit you like.
