Fried Pork Belly Sandwich

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Belly

Season the pork belly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub the spices into the meat thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Fry the Pork Belly

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned pork belly and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 15-20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lamb Chops

While the pork belly is frying, season the lamb chops with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear the lamb chops to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium.

  4. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

In another pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the bread rolls in half. Layer lettuce, a slice of fried pork belly, and tomato on the bottom half of each roll. Drizzle with red sauce and top with the other half of the roll.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the fried pork belly sandwiches with lamb chops and seasoned potatoes on the side.
