Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

Shape the Angus beef into 2 equal patties. Season both sides generously with blackening seasoning.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of ghost pepper cheese on each patty, covering them with a lid to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sriracha Aioli

In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup mayonnaise with 1-2 tablespoons of sriracha, adjusting to taste.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche buns lightly. On the bottom bun, spread a generous amount of sriracha aioli, place the cooked patty with melted cheese, add jalapeño slices, and top with the other half of the bun.
