Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the sirloin steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps the steak cook more evenly.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. If using, sprinkle fresh rosemary on top.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until it’s hot.

  4. 4

    Cooking the Steak

Add the steak to the hot pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust cooking time according to your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your perfectly cooked sirloin!
