Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the Steak
Remove the rib-eye steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Season the Steak
Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
3. Preheat the Pan
Heat a cast-iron skillet or heavy pan over medium-high heat until it is hot.
4. Cook the Steak
Place the steak in the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it.
5. Flip the Steak
Flip the steak and add the garlic cloves and rosemary to the pan. Cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, basting with the pan juices.
6. Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
