Preparing the Chicken and Pasta

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Prepare the Tequila-Lime Cream Sauce
In a bowl, combine heavy cream, tequila, lime juice, and lime zest. Mix well and pour over the sautéed vegetables. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Prepare Garlic Bread
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise, spread the garlic butter mixture on both halves, and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.

Serve the tequila-lime chicken pasta warm, alongside slices of garlic bread.
