Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Cooking Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Sear the Salmon

Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving them until the skin is crispy.

  4. 4

    Flip the Salmon

Gently flip the fillets using a spatula and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

  5. 5

    Remove from Heat

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Making Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  3. 8

    Add Lemon Juice

Stir in the lemon juice and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

  4. 9

    Finish the Sauce

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 10

    Serve the Dish

Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the seared salmon and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
