Cooking Salmon

Prepare the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Salmon
Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving them until the skin is crispy.

Flip the Salmon
Gently flip the fillets using a spatula and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

Remove from Heat
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
Making Lemon Butter Sauce

Add Lemon Juice
Stir in the lemon juice and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
