Preparing the Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each chicken breast to melt.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Assemble the Sandwich
Spread the chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each sandwich bun. Layer with lettuce leaves, grilled chicken with melted cheese, crispy bacon, mashed avocado, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.

Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately with your favorite side.
