Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients: rye whiskey, apple brandy, all spice dram, demerara syrup, and orange bitters.
Measure Ingredients
Using a jigger, measure 2 oz of rye whiskey, 1 oz of apple brandy, 0.5 oz of all spice dram, and 0.5 oz of demerara syrup.
Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of orange bitters to the measured ingredients.
Mixing

In a cocktail shaker, combine all the measured ingredients.
Shake
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Strain
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass using a fine mesh strainer to remove any ice shards.
