Method
Preparing the Prawns

Boil the Prawns
In a pot of boiling salted water, add the large prawns. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.

Chill the Prawns
Once cooked, drain the prawns and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Making the Marie Rose Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.

Season the Sauce
Add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the flavors according to your preference.
Assembling the Prawn Cocktail

Prepare Serving Dish
In a serving bowl or glass, place a layer of shredded iceberg lettuce at the bottom.

Add Prawns
Arrange the chilled prawns on top of the lettuce.

Top with Sauce
Generously spoon the prepared Marie Rose sauce over the prawns.

Garnish
Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
