Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C) to prepare for grilling the salmon.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing the Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the asparagus, zucchini, and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

  2. 5

    Grill the Vegetables

In a grill basket, toss the prepared vegetables with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.

  3. 6

    Garnish

Once grilled, sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the vegetables before serving.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled salmon alongside the grilled seasonal vegetables on a plate. Enjoy your meal!
