Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season the tomahawk ribeye steak on both sides with salt and black pepper. Drizzle olive oil over the steak and rub it in to ensure even coating.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Josper Grill

Preheat the Josper grill to a high temperature (around 600°F or 316°C) for optimal searing.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned steak on the grill and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Balsamic Roasted Cippolini and Pearl Onions

  1. 5

    Prepare the Onions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, combine cippolini onions, pearl onions, balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Roast the Onions

Spread the onion mixture onto a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until caramelized and tender, stirring halfway through.

Fingerling Potatoes

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash the fingerling potatoes and cut them in half lengthwise. In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary.

  2. 8

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy, turning once.

Garlic Bacon Butter

  1. 9

    Make the Garlic Bacon Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Stir in chopped cooked bacon and fresh parsley.

  2. 10

    Combine and Serve

Once combined, remove from heat and spoon the garlic bacon butter over the grilled steak just before serving.
