Method

Grilling the Broccolini

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broccolini

Rinse the broccolini under cold water and trim the ends off. Pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Season the Broccolini

Drizzle the broccolini with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Grill the Broccolini

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the broccolini on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and tender.

Making the Roasted Garlic Red Pepper Hummus

  1. 4

    Roast the Garlic

Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil and roast them in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes until soft and fragrant.

  2. 5

    Blend the Hummus

In a food processor, combine the canned chickpeas, roasted red peppers, tahini, roasted garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and water. Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary to reach desired consistency.

Making the Tahini Chili Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, chili paste, lemon juice, and water until smooth. Season with salt to taste.

Assembly and Garnish

  1. 7

    Serve the Dish

On a serving platter, arrange the grilled broccolini and serve with a generous dollop of roasted garlic red pepper hummus on the side.

  2. 8

    Add Sauces and Garnish

Drizzle the tahini chili sauce over the broccolini and hummus. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and fried garlic for added flavor and crunch.
