Coffee Ingredients

Method

Brewing the Coffee

  1. 1

    Prepare the Coffee Filter

Place a Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) on top of a glass or cup. Make sure it is secure and ready for brewing.

  2. 2

    Add the Coffee

Add the coarse ground coffee to the filter. Use about 2 tablespoons for a strong brew.

  3. 3

    Pour Hot Water

Slowly pour 150ml of hot water (just off boiling) over the coffee grounds in the filter. Allow coffee to brew for about 4-5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Remove the Filter

Once the coffee has finished brewing, carefully remove the filter from the glass.

Assembling the Drink

  1. 5

    Add Condensed Milk

Add 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk to the brewed coffee and stir well until fully combined.

  2. 6

    Prepare Ice

Fill a glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the drink.

  3. 7

    Pour Coffee Over Ice

Pour the sweetened coffee mixture over the ice-filled glass, allowing the cold drink to cool completely.

  4. 8

    Serve and Enjoy

Stir the drink well before serving, and enjoy your refreshing Vietnamese iced coffee!
