Melt Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Mixing Ingredients

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.

Mix Wet Ingredients
Add the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate mixture. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet chocolate mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

Cool Slightly
Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool for 1-2 minutes before inverting onto plates.
