Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Place it in a roasting pan.

  2. 2

    Blend the Sauce

In a blender, combine the green chiles, tomatillos, onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and chicken broth. Blend until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine and Roast

Pour the blended sauce over the pork in the roasting pan. Cover the pan tightly with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 4 to 5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for about 15 minutes before shredding. Serve the shredded pork with the sauce poured over it.
