Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Jalapeños

Carefully slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes to reduce heat.

2

Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

3

Stuff the Jalapeños

Fill each jalapeño half with the shrimp and cheese mixture. Press gently to ensure they are filled well.

4

Prepare the Batter

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, flour, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.

5

Fry the Stuffed Jalapeños

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip each stuffed jalapeño in the batter and carefully place them in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

6

Serve

Remove the fried jalapeños and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with house tomato sauce and guacamole on the side.
