Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mahi-mahi

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the mahi-mahi fillets, coating them well. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the mahi-mahi fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from heat and let rest.

  3. 3

    Make the Avocado Sauce

In a blender, combine the avocado, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the tortillas on the grill or in a skillet. Flake the grilled mahi-mahi and place it on the tortillas. Top with shredded cabbage, avocado sauce, pico de gallo, and crumbled queso fresco.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the fish tacos immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
