Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.

  2. 2

    Add Vegetables

Stir in the cabbage, carrots, onion, and celery. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

  3. 3

    Season the Filling

Add soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Egg Rolls

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner facing you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the pork filling in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a little water.

  5. 5

    Fry the Egg Rolls

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
