Method
Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
- 3
Fry the Chicken
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Buffalo Sauce
- 4
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce and mix well. Heat until warmed through, then remove from heat.
- 5
Coat the Chicken
Place the fried chicken breasts in a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
Sandwich Assembly
- 6
Assemble the Sandwich
Slice the sandwich buns in half. On the bottom half, spread a tablespoon of ranch dressing, then add a generous amount of shredded lettuce, followed by a slice of tomato, the buffalo chicken, and top with pickle slices. Add the top bun.
- 7
Serve
Serve the buffalo chicken sandwiches immediately while hot, with additional ranch dressing on the side if desired.
