Prepare Chicken

Season the Chicken
Rub the blackening seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and blackened. Remove from skillet and let rest.
Cook Pasta

Boil Water
Fill a large pot with water and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil.

Cook Fettuccine
Add the fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Stir in Cream and Cheese
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Add grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper, stirring until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly.

Slice Chicken
Slice the blackened chicken breasts into strips.

Serve the pasta on plates, top with sliced chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped basil. Enjoy!
