Chicken

Alfredo Sauce

Method

Prepare Chicken

  1. 1

    Season the Chicken

Rub the blackening seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and blackened. Remove from skillet and let rest.

Cook Pasta

  1. 3

    Boil Water

Fill a large pot with water and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil.

  2. 4

    Cook Fettuccine

Add the fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Make Alfredo Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt Butter

In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Add Garlic

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Stir in Cream and Cheese

Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Add grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper, stirring until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 3-5 minutes.

Combine and Serve

  1. 8

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly.

  2. 9

    Slice Chicken

Slice the blackened chicken breasts into strips.

  3. 10

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pasta on plates, top with sliced chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped basil. Enjoy!
