Baked Beans

Method

Baby Back Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the baby back ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with more foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Add Barbecue Sauce

Remove the foil and brush the barbecue sauce over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.

Baked Beans

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine canned baked beans, brown sugar, mustard, barbecue sauce, and chopped onion.

  2. 6

    Heat the Beans

Cook over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through and the flavors meld.

Cole Slaw

  1. 7

    Prepare the Dressing

In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 8

    Combine with Vegetables

Add shredded cabbage and carrots to the dressing. Toss until the vegetables are well coated.

  3. 9

    Chill

Cover the slaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
