Prepare the Tea

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let the tea steep for about 10 minutes.

Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer into a heatproof pitcher. Discard the used tea leaves.

Cool the Tea
Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it until chilled.
Assemble the Drink

In a tall glass, add 1 cup of ice cubes to fill it halfway.

Once the tea is chilled, pour the sweetened tea over the ice until the glass is about three-quarters full.

In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of evaporated milk with 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk, stirring until well combined.
