Method

Preparing the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

While the shrimp is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    Grill the Shrimp

Skewer the marinated shrimp (if desired) and place them on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from grill and set aside.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine spring mix salad greens, chopped green lettuce, shredded cabbage, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 5

    Add the Grilled Shrimp

Top the salad mixture with the grilled shrimp.

  3. 6

    Add Crispy Wonton Strips

Sprinkle the crispy wonton strips over the top of the salad for added crunch.

  4. 7

    Dress the Salad

If desired, drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over the salad just before serving. Toss gently to combine.
