Method

Prepare Grilled Meat

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken Breast

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat them well. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Prepare Rice

  1. 3

    Cooking White or Brown Rice

Rinse 1 cup of white rice or brown rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add the rice, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes for white rice or 40-45 minutes for brown rice, until tender.

  2. 4

    Prepare Fried Rice

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add cooked rice and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Add vegetables or protein of choice if desired, and season with soy sauce or salt to taste.

Prepare Sides

  1. 5

    Steam Broccoli

In a steamer basket over boiling water, steam the broccoli for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender.

  2. 6

    Grill Corn

Preheat the grill. Place corn on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and cooked through.
