Cook the Jasmine Rice
Rinse 2 cups of jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions, usually using a rice cooker or stovetop method. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Protein
If using chicken, dice 1 cup of chicken breast into small pieces. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Scramble the Eggs
In a skillet over medium heat, crack 2 large eggs and scramble them until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Chicken
In the same skillet, add diced chicken breast and cook until fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet along with the scrambled eggs. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Season with 0.5 teaspoons of salt and 0.5 teaspoons of pepper. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Transfer the fried rice to a serving dish. Garnish with sliced green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
