Prepare the Corned Beef
In a slow cooker, place the corned beef with enough water to cover it. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.

Shred the Corned Beef
Once cooked, remove the corned beef from the slow cooker, shred it using two forks, and set aside.

Prep the Sandwiches
Spread butter on one side of each slice of marble rye bread. On the unbuttered side, layer shredded corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and a generous amount of thousand island dressing.

Serve
Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm with additional thousand island dressing on the side.
