Ingredients for Meal on a Bun Sandwich
Method
Directions for Meal on a Bun Sandwich
- 1
Prepare the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, mix the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 2
Prepare the Pulled Pork
If using pre-cooked pulled pork, heat it in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through. If making from scratch, cook pork shoulder in a slow cooker with your favorite seasoning until tender, then shred.
- 3
Cook the French Fries
Prepare the french fries according to package instructions (bake, fry, or air-fry) until golden and crispy.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the hamburger buns lightly. On the bottom half of each bun, place a generous portion of pulled pork, followed by a scoop of coleslaw and drizzle with original sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 5
Serve
Serve the sandwiches hot alongside a side of crispy french fries.
