Ribs and Marinade

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create a marinade.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Ribs

Rub the marinade evenly over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover them tightly with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  5. 5

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and uncover them. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over both sides of the ribs.

  6. 6

    Finish Cooking

Return the ribs to the oven (uncovered) and bake for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C), or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.

  7. 7

    Serve

Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing them. Serve with your favorite sides.
