Burger Patties

Buns and Toppings

Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the frozen French fries to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Drain and Season

Remove fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt immediately while still hot.

Making the Burger Patties

  1. 4

    Prepare the Beef

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 5

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a small patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 6

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assembling the Burgers

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

Slice the mini burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Burgers

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
