For the BBQ Wings

Method

For the BBQ Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Wings

Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Add the BBQ Sauce

Remove the wings from the oven and brush generously with BBQ sauce. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized.

For the Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips in batches to the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and drain on paper towels.

  4. 8

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
