Method

Ribs Preparation

1

Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork back ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

2

Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mix all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

3

Wrap the Ribs

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil, making sure to seal the edges to keep the moisture in.

4

Bake the Ribs

Place the wrapped ribs in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.

5

Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs.

6

Final Bake

Return the ribs to the oven (uncovered) and bake for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C) for a caramelized finish.

Fries Preparation

7

Prepare the Potatoes

While the ribs are baking, wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

8

Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

9

Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven alongside the ribs (or in a separate oven) at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
