1. Cook the Spaghetti
Bring 2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot. Once boiling, add 1 tablespoon of salt.
2. Add the Noodles
Add 200 grams of dried spaghetti to the boiling water. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
3. Cook Until Al Dente
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sauce
4. Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
5. Add Garlic
Add 3 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
6. Combine Tomatoes and Seasonings
Pour in 400 grams of canned crushed tomatoes, then add 1 tablespoon each of dried basil and oregano, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
7. Simmer the Sauce
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

8. Serve the Noodles
Place the drained spaghetti onto plates and pour the tomato sauce over the top.
9. Add Garnish
Sprinkle 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese and top with 10 fresh basil leaves on each serving.
