Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until the butter turns a golden brown color and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, honey, and eggs until well combined. Slowly add the browned butter to the mixture, whisking continuously.

  3. 3

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a madeleine pan with butter or non-stick spray.

  6. 6

    Fill the Pan

Spoon the batter into the madeleine molds, filling each mold about 3/4 full.

  7. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers spring back when touched.

  8. 8

    Cool

Remove the madeleines from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
