Method
Buffalo Chicken Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Breading Process
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg, and finally coat with bread crumbs.
- 3
Bake the Chicken
Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 4
Buffalo Sauce Coating
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and toss it in a bowl with the Buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- 5
Prepare the Ranch Dressing
In a bowl, mix together the buttermilk, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to taste. Whisk until smooth.
- 6
Assemble the Dish
Place the Buffalo chicken on a serving plate. Top each piece with a slice of pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and pickles. Drizzle the house-made ranch dressing over the top.
