Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Premium Angus ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix to ensure a tender patty.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a round patty, about ¾ inch thick. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness. If using cheese, add a slice to each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on the grill or in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty, a slice of tomato, and pickles if desired. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then top with the other half of the bun.
