Method

Preparation of Tzatziki

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber using a box grater or a food processor. Place the grated cucumber in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth and squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic (mince garlic by crushing it with a knife or using a garlic press), olive oil, lemon juice, and chopped fresh dill.

  3. 3

    Season

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  4. 4

    Chill

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve with Crackers

Once the tzatziki has chilled, serve it in a bowl alongside a box of crackers for dipping. Enjoy!
