Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Form the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into a single patty, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patty and place the American cheese on top. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your liking.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger bun if desired. Spread the tartar sauce on the bottom half of the bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a leaf of lettuce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the Junior burger immediately with your favorite sides.
