2. Brown the Meat
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

4. Add Remaining Ingredients
Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and water or beef broth. Mix well.
5. Simmer the Chili
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Taste and Adjust
