Shrimp

Method

Prepare the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Cook the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.

  2. 2

    Cool the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer them to an ice bath (a bowl of ice water) to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cocktail Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well until fully combined.

  2. 4

    Adjust Flavor

Taste the cocktail sauce and add hot sauce if desired for extra heat. Mix again and adjust seasoning as needed.

Serve the Dish

  1. 5

    Plate the Shrimp

Arrange the cooled shrimp on a serving platter.

  2. 6

    Add the Sauce

Serve the cocktail sauce in a small bowl alongside the shrimp for dipping.

  3. 7

    Garnish

Add lemon wedges and sprinkle fresh parsley over the shrimp for garnish.
