Method

Preparing the Scrambled Eggs

  1. 1

    Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the 4 eggs and whisk them until the yolks and whites are fully combined. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ham

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add 1 cup of chopped cooked ham and sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  3. 3

    Scramble the Eggs

Pour the whisked eggs over the ham in the skillet. Cook while gently stirring with a spatula, allowing the eggs to set and scramble. This should take about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

Once the eggs are almost fully cooked, reduce heat to low and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 tablespoon of milk. Continue cooking until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.

Cooking the Bacon and Toast

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, add 1 tablespoon of oil and heat on medium-high. Add 1 slice of bacon and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 6

    Toast the Bread

In the same skillet, toast 1 slice of bread in the bacon fat until golden brown on both sides. Alternatively, you can use a toaster.

Preparing Pan-Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut 1 medium potato into thin strips for frying.

  2. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

In a skillet, heat enough oil for frying over medium heat. Add the potato strips and fry until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
