Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the onion and bell pepper into thin slices. Clean and slice the mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Season the Sirloin

In a bowl, combine the ground sirloin with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Sirloin

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form the seasoned sirloin into patties and place them in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chopped onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

  3. 5

    Add the Gravy

Pour the brown gravy over the sautéed vegetables and stir to combine. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  4. 6

    Serve

Place the cooked sirloin patties on a plate and top with the gravy and vegetable mixture. Serve hot.
