Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the ziti pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken
Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.

Combine Chicken, Pasta, and Sauce
Add the cooked ziti pasta to the Alfredo sauce and mix well to combine. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. If using, steam the broccoli florets and serve on the side or mixed into the pasta.
