Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Spice Mix
In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.
- 2
Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mix generously over the top and bottom of each fillet.
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
- 4
Cook the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the fillet is cooked halfway up. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through.
- 5
Serve
Remove the salmon from the skillet and squeeze fresh lemon juice over each fillet before serving. Enjoy with your choice of side.
