Method
Preparation
- 1
Wash the Fruits
Thoroughly wash the strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, melon, and grapes under cold running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.
- 2
Prepare the Strawberries
Remove the green tops of the strawberries and set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Pineapple
Peel the pineapple and cut it into bite-sized chunks, ensuring each piece is roughly the same size for even skewering.
- 4
Prepare the Kiwi
Peel the kiwi and slice it into circular pieces, about half an inch thick.
- 5
Prepare the Melon
Slice the melon in half, remove the seeds, and cut it into bite-sized chunks, similar in size to the pineapple.
Assembly
- 6
Assemble the Skewers
Take a wooden skewer and start threading one piece of each fruit onto the skewer. Alternate the fruit pieces for a colorful presentation, starting with a strawberry, followed by a piece of pineapple, then kiwi, melon, and finishing with grapes. Repeat for additional skewers.
Serving
- 7
Serve the Skewers
Arrange the finished fruit skewers on a serving platter. They can be served immediately or refrigerated for up to 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
