Juicing the Lemons
Cut the fresh lemons in half and juice them using a citrus juicer or reamer. You should have approximately 1.5 to 2 cups of lemon juice.

Mixing the Sugar and Water
In a large pitcher, combine the granulated sugar and 4 cups of water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Combining Ingredients
Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher with the sugar-water mixture. Stir well to combine.

Adding Cold Water
Pour in 8 cups of cold water to the lemonade mixture. Stir again to ensure everything is well mixed.

Chilling the Lemonade
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1-2 hours to chill before serving.

Pouring the Lemonade
Once chilled, pour the lemonade into glasses filled with ice.

Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a few mint leaves for added flavor and presentation.
