Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Meat

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or your preferred meat) to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 2

    Layer the Nachos

On a large baking sheet, spread the tortilla chips evenly. Top the chips with the cooked ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Evenly distribute the jalapeños over the top.

Baking

  1. 3

    Bake the Nachos

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the baking sheet with the layered nachos in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 4

    Finish and Serve

Once baked, remove the nachos from the oven. Drizzle with sour cream and guacamole. Optionally, garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately while hot.
